Brittany's northern coast extends from the wide expanse of Mont St Michel Bay in the east, through the sandy beaches of the Cote Emeraude including Cancale, the oyster capital of Brittany. A detour inland finds delightful, medieval Dinan with its narrow streets and half-timbered houses. Further west is the Cote Granit Rose – the Pink Granite Coast, so-called because of the colour of the underlying rock. Between Perros Guirec and Tregastel Plage you will find sandy coves and rock pools with stunning views.
